SoonerStart is a statewide program in
Oklahoma that provides a range of services for infants and toddlers from birth
to age three with developmental delays and their families. If a parent
thinks their baby or child may have a delay in growth or development or has been
diagnosed with a disability or condition that could result in a delay, they can
apply for services through SoonerStart. Eligibility is not based on
income, but on the child's developmental status. There are SoonerStart offices in all areas of the state. Parents and professionals can contact
The Oklahoma Areawide
Services Information System (OASIS) at 1-800-426-2747 to learn more about the program and to be referred to
the Sooner Start program for their area.
